How you book

A ride consultant confirms suitability, availability and the price plan and holds a space for a short time while the booking forms and deposit arrive; the consultant then e-mails a booking link on which the traveller selects the sharing or single pricing plan. A booking confirmation with packing suggestions and meeting-point details follows the deposit. Party sizes are published per ride and several rides use tiered pricing that falls as the group fills, with the deposit and final invoice calculated on the higher tier and adjusted once the group size is fixed.

Prices are published in US dollars based on double occupancy. Deposits confirm a booking and are neither refundable nor transferable, and the amount varies with the cost of the ride; for rides over $3,000 a second deposit of $1,000 is due four months before the trip, and custom rides take a 50 per cent deposit at booking. Final payment is due 45 days before the trip. The company reserves the right to adjust prices if exchange rates move significantly.

Deposits are not refunded. Half of the final payment is refunded if notice is given 31 days or more before departure, and nothing is refunded for cancellations 30 days or less before departure; the site recommends buying travel insurance separately because it does not guarantee any further refund.
