How you book

Travellers enquire by phone, email or the application form on the trip page. The company confirms availability within 48 hours, and the place is then secured with a deposit and a signed package travel contract. GoBeyond can book flights, 1-2 months before departure, for a handling fee (€30 on tickets under €1,000, €50 above) and can arrange visas for €35. Riders need a licence valid for at least a 150cc motorcycle and must bring their own protective gear; a used helmet can be provided. Other dates can be arranged for private groups. Besides the Budapest and Vienna offices, the site lists offices in Queenstown and Ericeira.

The terms require a deposit of 20% of the tour price, paid by bank transfer or card within 7 days of the invoice; the trip page says the second instalment is due 30 days before departure. Contracts made less than 20 days before departure are paid in full at once. Upgrading to a GasGas/KTM 350 costs €200 extra, and travelling in the back-up van instead of riding saves €200.

Cancellation fees per person: more than 45 days before departure, 10% of the price; 45 to 31 days, 40%; 30 to 20 days, 70%; within 20 days, 100%. The fee is payable within 5 working days of cancelling. The operator may cancel if the minimum number of participants set in the contract is not reached.
