Large Taiwanese travel agency (Lion Travel Service Co., Ltd.) selling group tours, independent packages, flights and hotels, with branch booking lines in Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung and sister sites in the US, Canada, Hong Kong and Japan. On 2026-09-23 a site search for Mongolia returned one tour, an 8-day group tour. That tour is a joint departure (PAK) operated and run under the name of another Taiwanese agency, 旅天下聯合國際旅行社. A 12-day winter Mongolia + Lake Baikal tour operated by Lion Travel itself was linked from the same page. Both tours fly from Taoyuan via Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific and MIAT.

How you book

Each tour page shows its departure dates, with seats on sale (可賣) and total seats (席次), and an online 報名 (sign up) button. Booking lines: Taipei 02-8793-9000 (24 hours), Taoyuan 03-347-6699, Taichung 04-3702-3279, Tainan 06-703-0250 and Kaohsiung 07-213-7799. Both Mongolia tours run with 15 to 42 travellers and a licensed tour leader throughout. Taiwanese passport holders need a paper Mongolian visa: about 10 working days, and the original passport is required. The 12-day tour also needs a Russian visa, so the passport is held for about one month before departure. A traveller with reduced mobility must travel with at least two family members or friends and is assessed before the booking is accepted.

Prices are in New Taiwan dollars per person and include airport taxes and fuel surcharges. Tips for the tour leader, guide, driver and hotel staff are extra. A single traveller either pays the single-room supplement or is paired with a traveller of the same sex. On the 12-day tour, the second traveller of a pair gets an early-booking discount when the booking and deposit are made: TWD 15,000 off at 150 days before departure, 10,000 at 120 days, 6,000 at 90 days and 3,000 at 60 days. The deposit amount is not published on the tour pages.
